Our weekly timetable

Reading: Children are expected to read as often as they can at home (a minimum of three times a week). This might not always be their reading book but make sure reading diaries are signed and returned to school daily so they can be checked. Every read goes towards our reading challenge where children can win bronze, silver and gold badges.

If children read three times in a week they will be entered into the weekly Frappe Friday draw where they can attend the cafe in the library area and have a snack and milkshake of their choice.

PE:  PE lessons will take place weekly on Wednesday and Friday afternoons and children will need full PE kits in a drawstring bag. This includes a white T-shirt, tracksuit bottoms, trainers, socks and a waterproof jacket/coat. Girls and boys will change separately.

Homework: Each week children are set Maths and SPaG homework in their CPG workbooks. A small slip glued in the front should tell you which pages to complete. Homework is due back in school on a Wednesday so it can be marked.

High attendance and excellent engagement with home-reading and homework is a target for all and will be monitored throughout the year. If children are not completing their homework, they will need to do so in their break or lunchtime.
