Welcome to Class 4!

This page will provide you with all the important information you will need to support your child throughout the year. Make sure you visit regularly to have a look at all the fantastic things we'll be doing this year.

KS1 Nativity- The Christmas Recipe

Important days

Tuesday & Thursday - PE lesson (your child must have a full PE kit in school)

Thursday  - Homework due (see below for more information)

Friday - Spelling Test (spelling books must be returned to school)


Reading books will be changed three times a week. (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Please ensure you sign your child's reading diary so that we can give them a new book. 


Our homework menu contains 9 activities for your child to choose from. They must complete at least one activity a week (in any order) but there will be a prize if they can complete all 9. 


Homework is due in on a Thursday and will be marked off on the chart on the inside cover of the homework books.

Remembrance Day


We have been learning all about Remembrance Day. We talked about why people wear poppies and, after a visit to the war memorial, we made a hand print poppy wreath to remember all those who have died in war.

First Day of Year 1


What a fantastic first day! The children settled really well and showed exceptional behaviour throughout the day!
