Important days and key events:
- Reading books will be changed three times a week (if needed) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please try to read as often as you can at home and ask children lots of questions about the text. It is important for children to be able to master their understanding of what they have read through questioning. Please see link below for questions to help with children's reading comprehension at home. Please also remember to make sure your reading diaries have been signed so your reads can be counted for our reading challenge! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Homework will be given every Friday. This will be a maths arithmetic focus based on the Year 2 curriculum. Holiday homework will be a pre-learning project to prepare for the new topic. Homework should be returned by Wednesday.
- Spelling tests are on Friday. New spellings for the following week will also be given on this day. Please remember to bring your spelling book to school every Friday! 📝
- PE is every Wednesday and Thursday morning. Make sure you have the correct kit in school on this day. ⚽️
